What is NMAPC?

The National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, Inc. (NMAPC) is an impartial joint labor-management organization that administers the National Maintenance Agreements (NMA), among the most widely used project labor agreements in the U.S.  The Committee is made up of 28 members, 14 each from the labor and contractor communities.

4. Book of Decisions

What is the Book of Decisions?

The Book of Decisions is a collection of interpretations of various aspects of the National Maintenance Agreements, as rendered by NMAPC's Labor-Management Committee. Invariably, disputes have arisen over how certain passages in the Agreements should be interpreted "in the field." The binding decisions handed down by the Committee constitute the "last word" on these disputes.

NMAPC is an industry leader in promoting the importance of on-the-job safety. Each year we host the Zero Injury Safety Awards (ZISA) Gala, the most prestigious safety award program in the construction industry. The ZISA program honors the tripartite efforts of contractors, owner-clients and unions who work together to achieve an injury-free jobsite.
