NMAPC Congratulates Jacob Snyder on Management Co-Chair Position, Thanks Bob Hoover for Years of Leadership

After 16 years of dedicated service as the management co-chair for the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee Inc. (NMAPC), Robert “Bob” C. Hoover did not seek reelection during the NMAPC’s last quarterly meeting. As a result, Jacob Snyder, chief operating officer of Enerfab Power & Industrial, was unanimously elected for the position.

Hoover joined the NMAPC Labor Management Committee in 1981 and served as its dedicated management co-chair from 2006 to 2023 and currently retains a seat on its Board of Directors.  He previously served as president of The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) from 2007 to 2009 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Council of Employers of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (ICE-BAC).

“I am thankful for the leadership of Bob Hoover. He has helped guide the program through some major initiatives and transitions that have allowed the NMAPC program to become the industry leader in labor-management cooperation,” said Snyder about his predecessor. “I am honored that the leaders from the contractor community who sit on the NMAPC Labor-Management Committee have selected me as the next Management Co-Chair of the NMAPC” added the new Co-Chair.

Snyder joined Enerfab Power & Industrial as the Managing Director of Safety and Labor Relations in 2009 and served as its Vice President of Human Resources, Safety and Labor Relations prior to being named Chief Operating Officer.

Snyder conveyed that he looks forward to “working with NMAPC staff, Labor Co-Chair Mike Pleasant and the entire labor-management committee as we continue to honor the legacy of the program while also addressing the challenges we face today.”

The NMAPC wishes to thank Hoover for his service and mentorship throughout the years and congratulates Snyder on his new role with the organization.
