NMAPC Statement on the Passing of James Woodward
The entire NMAPC organization expresses its sincere condolences to the family of James Franklin "Woody" Woodward, who passed away at the age of 61 on May 29, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jim, a member of the Teamsters for more than three decades, served as the international union's official representative on the NMAPC.
"Jim was a delight to work with," said Steve Lindauer, NMAPC Impartial Secretary and CEO. "He was a real 'stand-up guy' who was able to see the big picture while remaining a staunch advocate for the Teamsters International Union. He will be sorely missed."
Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Woodward, of Alexandria, Virginia; two children; four brothers, and four sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James's name to Capital Hospice and American Cancer Society.
