WATCH: New Video Celebrates Completion of Major NMA Hospital Project
The Barnes-Jewish Hospital and other partners in St. Louis recently celebrated the success of a massive, three-year-plus campus renewal project completed under the terms of the NMA.
The renewal plan involved not just Barnes-Jewish, but also the St. Louis Children's Hospital and the Washigton University School of Medicine, which share space on the medical campus. The goal -- to improve the patient and family experience from both a climical and campus perspective -- involved a mix of renovation and new construction, including a new inpatient tower and expansion of numerous other medical and diagnostic services, including more private beds.
The entire project, which began in February 2014, resulted in roughly 3.6 million hours worked under the NMA.
The NMAPC is proud to have played a strategic role in the completion of this historic project. Watch the video below for comments from our Impartial Secretary/CEO, Steve Lindauer.
